The start of something beautiful
Unibind is building, in partnership with Eneco and its subsidiary Air Energy, two wind turbines on the premises of its headquarters in Puurs.
These 2 Enercon wind turbines of 2.3 MW each will be producing 10.2 GWh or the equivalent of the annual consumption of 3000 households. The locally generated renewable electricity will be used entirely by Unibind. This covers 75% of the full consumption of the headquarters. The project will be operational in July 2011.
